Jack and Maggie Peretto just found a prothonotary warbler at the west woods trailhead in guildford. This is just down the road from the shell beach marsh where the phalarope has been. From the marsh head east on 146, turn left at the stop sign and go under the railroad tracks (you are still on 146 at this point). Immediately after going under the railroad tracks turn left on Sam Hill road and immediately turn left into the parking area for the west woods trail complex. The bird is 4 ft from the parking area immediately to your left in a low sunken muddy area. It is not shy.
