Spent 5 hours this morning in Boston Hollow in Ashford (and a little in Eastford) looking for migrants. It was pretty slow with just 4 small mixed flocks of warblers containing 11 species. Highlight was 1 Cape May Warbler which was a new bird for my CT statelist (#313 in CT and #1,981 in the 6 New England states).

Highlights -
Pine Warbler - 9
BT Green - 4
Redstart - 4
BT Blue - 2
CAPE MAY - 1
Nashville - 1
Parula - 1
Yellowthroat - 1
Magnolia - 1
Black-and-white - 1
Blackpoll - 1
Blue-headed Vireo - 3
Red-eyed - 2
Warbling - 1
"Traill's" Flycatcher - 2

It looked like a great spot. Though it was painful to see that most all of the Hemlocks were ill apparently due to the impacts of the Wooly Adelgid.
