What a difference a day makes! After yesterday's lackluster flight, we
finally got an enjoyable day of Broad-Wings at Audubon Greenwich with
several kettles numbering over 100 birds. Many streams of birds were
directly over the watch. Tomorrow's winds will be more out of the NE but
hopefully the Broad Wing river hasn't run dry yet. Infact I would say we'll
probably see some lifting off in the morning as many birds were low in
altitude late in the day and likely looking to stay in Greenwich for the
night.
