The Sharp Shins get revenge once again with 165 birds totaled and many
groups of 10+ at a time. At one point there was literally a kettle of 14
Sharpies directly over our heads. Kestrels also put in a decent showing
with 27 birds (10 of which were between 9-10 AM alone). While it may seem
like the Broad Wings have left us, 2000 were counted in Massachusetts today
so we easily could have more on the way. Tomorrow's forecast calls for
heavy rain but that could easily hold these birds up North back for a day
or so.
