​10/1  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center  10-1PM,. overcast,
rainy 60-65F
low tide receding.
On the grounds:
CAROLINA WREN, 2 CARDINALS (MALE AND FEMALE), MOURNING DOVES, SONG
SPARROW,  AMERICAN CROW, 6 HOUSE FINCHES, TITMICE, 5 BLUE JAYS.
 On the marsh:
2 YELLOW CROWNED NIGHT HERONS (juveniles), 8 SNOWY EGRETS, 7 GREAT EGRETS,
4 D.C. CORMORANTS, 1 NORTHERN HARRIER (female),3 BLACK DUCKS, a flock of
about 25 "sandpiper types" flying through marsh.  Around noon a group of
about 2 dozen gulls and  6 snowy egrets congregated as the water was
receding, walking, shoveling their bills back & forth and moving back &
forth, following shallow water fish.
