[CT Birds] eBird Report - Hamden, Upper Lake Whitney Cycle, Oct 9, 2014

Hamden:  around upper Lake Whitney.  Warblers moving through, & some ducks:  B&W & lovely close view of male Common Yellowthroat.  Grebe & Coot & Wigeon.  Now, 2 Bald Eagles, presumably from the State St. group.

The lake is almost up to normal -- about a foot or so to go;  the neighboring kettle holes are slowly filling, percolating up, and they need longer to go & are still on the dry side.
