At the north end of Saugatuck Reservoir in Redding, CT, this afternoon there were a number of small, scattered groups of Ring-necked ducks feeding in the shallow water along the shoreline and one "raft" of about 200 of them floating in the middle of the lake. Also spotted several isolated pairs and one flock of about 50 Green-winged teal close to shore.
