Russ Naylor stopped by, he had an adult Peregrine Falcon snatching dragonflies at Cassidy Road (Southbury Training School) on Friday and 15-20 White-crowned Sparrows. He had a Cackling Goose at Ram Pasture (Main St. and Sugar Street) in Newtown. He had a Rusty Blackbird and an American Tree Sparrow at the Bent of the River on Friday and there has been an adult White-crowned Sparrow here. The tons of Purple Finches and Pine Siskins go almost without saying, although the siskins are still taking natural food and not often coming to the feeders.
