[CT Birds] Western CT Bird Club Talk

The Thursday, November 20th meeting of the Western Connecticut Bird Club takes place at "The Hearth at Southbury", 655 Main Street South, Southbury. The 7:00 P.M meeting is preceded by a social which starts at 6:30. Greg Hanisek will give a talk entitled "The Making of a Naturalist". More information about Greg and his talk is below. The public is welcome.
Greg's talk is called "The Making of a Naturalist." He will trace how birding over the years led him to an interest in many facets of nature.
Greg lives in Waterbury. Retired from Republican-American as an editor but still writes a weekly nature column. Many other nature related activities including editor of Connecticut Ornithology Association's Connecticut Warbler magazine and secretary of the Avian Records Committee of Connecticut.
