​1/14  Milford, Connecticut Audubon Coastal Center  10am-1PM, low tide, but
marsh is frozen over til the middle and far portions, cloudy, 24F.
I took a double-take for the First non-human visitor- was a calico cat
patrolling the marsh edge.
2 Cardinals (M&F), mourning doves, house sparrows.
On marsh far out , 12 BUFFLEHEADS, 11 BLACK DUCKS, 1 CANADA GOOSE, NORTHERN
HARRIER patrolling, RING BILLED GULLS, HERRING GULLS and  1 GREAT BLACK
BACKED GULL, 3 MUTE SWANS. About 40 small shorebirds"peeps", flew around
marsh.
