Passing these along.

 From SH Johnston:
01/16/2015 -- New Britain - 2 PEREGRINE FALCONS (adult male and female) continue right in the heart of downtown. Very active and visible. Easy to park and watch from the comfort of one's car. One came right down the street, about 25 ft off the ground! :-) A large adult Cooper's Hawk was scrunched up on the cornice of a nearby building, looking rather disgruntled as the Peregrines whizzed around.
01/16/2015 -- Farmington yard - YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER continues at suet.
01/16-2015 -- Farmington Meadows (Meadow Road) - 1 ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK (light); I got great looks at it hovering before the resident Red-tail chased it off, sending it north.

 From Ralph Amodei
1/16 - East Haven feeders - 4:45 - 4:52 pm 1 female Baltimore Oriole
Poor thing she looked cold and off balance, but feed well on black oil sunflower seed.

 From Don Lukaszek:
01/16/15 - New Britain, around 130pm, corner of Lasalle & McClintock Streets, Yellow Bellied Sapsucker perched on tree trunk
