[CT Birds] Ravens, North Lake, Hamden: Fwd: eBird Report - Upper Lake Whitney Cycle, Jan 20, 2015

Relatively quiet around here. No Rusties, but a lovely view of a flying Flicker flashing gold.

Much of Lake Whitney is frozen, but there's open space near the Mill River mouth and below Whitney Ave., and in Web Brook marsh (on Waite St. near Whitney Ave), and the shoreline ice is thinning.

From Arthur Shippee:
1/20/15 - Hamden, North Lake Dr. -- 2 Common Ravens, flying E to W, over Hamden Land Trust lot.
