Around 2 pm at the South River Road boat launch while unsuccessfully searching for the Barrow's Goldeneye between the boat launch and the bridge on a well packed down snow path, an adult Northern Goshawk came out of trees and noisily attacked a passing adult Bald Eagle. Large gray Accipiter, giving a loud harsh KAK!, KAK!, KAK! call. Me and another observer failed to relocate the Goshawk as the Eagle flew across the river and continued downstream.
