[CT Birds] Announcement: Audubon CT seeking a Roadside Bird Survey Technician

Dear CT Birding Community,

Audubon Connecticut is seeking a Field Technician to conduct bird surveys from April 27th - July 3rd at 8 locations across the state.  The surveys are being conducted to assess the impact of road side management techniques (http://www.stormwise.info/) developed by the University of CT and the CT Agricultural Experiment Station on forest bird diversity and abundance during spring migration and the breeding season.  The technician will be responsible for conducting bird survey transects, entering data into a spreadsheet, and summarizing the data. The technician will work 35 hours per week and will be reimbursed for travel.   Pay is $10/hr.  This project is funded by the United State Forest Service.
