[CT Birds] Stratford Swallow Question

>From the car on Lordship Boulevard in Stratford, I confirmed that I saw a
swallow with pointed wings.  How likely is it that it is a Tree Swallow?
The only other non-rare swallow is Northern Rough- winged.  Is the location
and date (today) enough to eliminate Rough- winged and confirm it as a
Tree? According to eBird, Rough-winged has never been seen in March around
Stratford.  That species in March is quite uncommon.
