[CT Birds] Westport-Sherwood Island Highlights

3/26/15-Westport-Sherwood Island State Park
1 OSPREY and 1 TREE SWALLOW flying high over the airfield.  Also seen was
17 WILSON'S SNIPE, flying around the whole park.  Behind the airfield, in
the marsh a Juvenile GLAUCOUS GULL was feeding to the right of the flock.
I managed to take photos, of this large, off-white colored gull.  It was
feeding alone, 15 feet away from the main flock herring and Ring billed
gulls, which rested around the osprey nest.
 Of note, there was a very large blackbird/grackle/cowbird movement today.
