6 Osprey and 2 Great Egrets, with one Oystercatcher on one of the distant rocky islets at the mouth of the Mianus River. Brant way out there and several DC Corms about. A Tree swallow flew by and a Red-shouldered Hawk drifted overhead. This brand new park is quickly becoming one of my favorite lunchbreak spots, and has great potential, especially as shorebirds start moving in.
Driving back to work, three Ring-necked Ducks on Davis Pond in Bruce Park.
