Highlights of a morning birding with Louisa Cunningham at Lake
Chamberlain included a pair of Eastern Phoebes, many Tree Swallows,
American Kestrel, Yellow-rumped and Pine Warblers, a pair of Pileated
Woodpeckers at very close range, a Great Horned Owl and a Hermit Thrush.
There were two pairs of Buffleheads and some Common Mergansers in the
lake.  This is Regional Water Authority property; permit required.
