Explore the bird life of Central Park with wildlife photographer and naturalist Deborah Allen. Central Park, situated on the Atlantic flyway, is internationally acknowledged as one of the best places to observe migratory birds in spring and fall. Over the years, 285 species of birds have been recorded visiting the park. In April and May, songbirds will stop to rest and feed in the Ramble and North Woods of the Park. We'll take a look at many of these migrants, as well as the birds that inhabit Central Park during the quieter months of winter and summer. Deborah is a bird tour leader and a former president of The Linnaean Society of New York.
