From about 10:30 AM till 11:45 AM walked in the Hidden Valley Preserve in Washington Depot, CT. I walked on the south side of the river on the Van Sinderan/Yellow Trail to the Reich Bridge. Crossed the bridge to the north side of river and took the Bee Brook/White trail to the Bee Brook parking area. Birds I tallied on this walk: common mergansers (flying), eastern phoebe (seen at bridge), red-eyed vireos (heard), wood thrushes (heard), black-throated green warbler (heard), Louisiana waterthrush  (seen), ovenbirds (heard), and scarlet tanager (heard).
