A step outside this morning yielded Magnolia, Blackpoll and Parula, plus a few Red-eyed Vireos singing. The conditions, light winds and fog and an active radar for birds could add up to a pretty decent migration day. Get out and go birding!
I don't have a current Big Weekend tally, but we look pretty decent for the overall weekend tally, our Audubon team is around 160 species, but with another whole day of birding to add to the total.
