From Mark Scott: 5/21/15 -- Pleasant Valley Preserve, Lyme -- at least two cerulean warblers. One was heard just outside the preserve near the intersection of Route 156 and MacIntosh Road. Another two were heard oversinging each other on the Red Trail inside the preserve; of these two one finally came into view. Also singing veery, yellow-throated vireo, several blue-winged (by voice) warblers, ovenbird.
Route 156, Lyme -- hooded warbler singing near the road. Not a place to stop long but the bird did appear briefly.
East Rock Park, New Haven -- besides the mourning, Blackburnian and Wilson's warblers reported previously, veery singing by the river.
Yard, New Haven -- blackpoll warblers, Canada warbler, magnolia warbler remain.
