From Mark Scott: 5/26/15 -- at least one pair of Eastern kingbirds appears to be on territory along the Mill River at East Rock Park, New Haven. The last few years they have been absent from their traditional locations there -- or perhaps so late getting there that the area is not birded by the time they arrive.Canada warbler, a few blackpolls remain in the park.
Farmington Canal Trail, Hamden -- blue-winged warbler, two prairie warblers singing at and near the Brooksvale power-line cut. Green frogs vocalizing.
Yard, New Haven -- first day no migrants have been seen or heard since May 1
