From Mark Scott: 5/28/15 -- Farm River State Park, East Haven -- white-eyed vireo, chestnut-sided warblers (2). This little-known and little-birded state park might be worth visiting during peak migration to see what comes through. It abuts the Farm River, about half a mile inland from the Sound. There is some mature forest as well as some shrubby re-growth between ten and fifteen feet high. A parking lot with space for a few cars can be found on Short Beach Road (Route 142) east of Mansfield Grove Road.
I had meant to get there earlier. Next year.
