The YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT found by Tina, Jory, and Dave yesterday at Bluff Point State Park in Groton continues this morning. It took some patience but the bird was eventually heard calling and singing before teeing up on a cedar after 25 minutes. It is directly north of the island of vegetation between the two large gravel parking lots. It should be noted that Yellow-breasted chat is a rare and declining nester in New England, so no playback of song should be used.
