From Mark Scott: 6/17/15 -- West Rock Ridge State Park -- a ride along Baldwin Drive yielded, in addition to the ubiquitous ovenbirds, a black-billed cuckoo near the north end; two common ravens calling near the power-line cut; an Eastern hog-nosed snake burrowing into soft soil near the southern end (most likely hunting American toads); and a cowbird fledgling chasing its chipping sparrow "parent."
