>From Adrienne and Bob Miller - there has been a pair of long-tailed (oldsquaw) ducks in the Compo boat basin for several days - at the tip of the spit where boats enter the basin.

Also, a single adult bald eagle on Chimon Island in Norwalk (McKinney Refuge)  perched in a tree - can a nest be far behind?
