[CT Birds] DOWPs at hummingbird feeder

I too have frequent visits by downy woodpeckers  to my nectar feeders. I maintain one mainly for them. It is one where they pulled off the little yellow flowers in previous years, I presume to improve access. The first group of fledglings was on it yesterday getting lessons from adults. Catbirds also use it and every couple of years I see a sapsucker there.  Hummers tolerate it as well as they tolerate other hummers.
