Dear CT Birders,

The weather is looking beautiful for Sunday's clean-up of the Pleasure Beach Nature Trail, hosted by the Bridgeport Wildlife Guards, a team of high school student being trained and employed as beach-nesting bird stewards by Audubon Connecticut, the Roger Tory Peterson Institute, and the City of Bridgeport. The clean-up is from 9am - 2 pm. Any amount of time you can contribute would be greatly appreciated!

Getting to Pleasure Beach is easy with free parking at the water taxi pier, 91 Seaview Avenue, Bridgeport. The water taxi will bring visitors to and from Pleasure Beach, and is also free. Many of the species on Pleasure Beach are rare or threatened, including our Piping Plovers. Note: Please bring work gloves, sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle.

Thank you!
