Cynthia Ehlinger, posting this for Joe Zeranski

In order to illustrate some of the potential of Connecticut's popular birding sites, Joe Zeranski has compiled the historic records for Greenwich Point Park going back to the 1920s. The compiled results, 298 species, are impressive for one location and may be found in Ebird.( http://ebird.org/ebird/hotspot/L109200 )
Birders are encouraged to become aware of the seasonal possibilities at their favorite hot spots and record their observations in Ebird.  More comprehensive and easily accessible lists for Connecticut hot spots may then be available to help us better understand when and where species may be present.
