I found a juvenile Stilt Sandpiper this morning along the shore of the
small pond at the back of Aspetuck Park in Easton. The park is off 58
about half a mile north of where it crosses 136. Drive to the back of the
park and park by the log cabin. The Stilt Sandpiper was hanging out with a
Solitary. It's a small pond, so it's possible to get great looks.

At adjacent Aspetuck Reservoir, I saw an immature Bald Eagle (flyover), two
early Ring-necked Ducks, a Black Vulture (flyover) and a female/immature
Merlin (seen perched on a dead tree from back of Aspetuck Cemetery, which
is across the street form Aspetuck Park).
