[CT Birds] Nighthawks tonight

You'd want to have an open area to give the largest amount of sky view.  At my house, the nighthawks always come from the east, flying west.  I'm on the coast, so can't speak for inland river valleys and other areas.

I have a plan for the evening which includes putting a lawn chair out in my yard around 630, grabbing a beer, and looking west for nighthawks.
I live in Colchester which is very woody with several farmy open spaces. What kind of environment should I set my lawn chair up in to have the greatest success?
