Lovely morning at Lighthouse Point Park despite no hawks, which were unexpected given the weather. However, 100-90% cloud covers, temps in 70s and light to moderate SW wind made for very comfortable viewing of a flight of 1,250 Bobolinks in flocks ranging from c 10 to 80. Most went through from 7-9 a.m.
Other migrants (7-11 a.m.) included: 2 Solitary Sandpipers, 85 Chimney Swifts, 9 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, 27 Eastern Kingbirds, 80 Tree Swallows, 25 Barn Swallows, 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, 180 Cedar Waxwings and 35 Red-winged Blackbirds.
