>From Steve Spector, a jaeger, looking most like an intermediate juvenile Parasitic Jaeger, but seen too briefly to be sure, flew into a large concentration of terns and gulls at Stratford Point (near the lighthouse) around 2:00 PM.  The gulls and terns were responding to areas of churning fish (in what were called "bait balls"), perhaps bait fish being herded by predators such as Bluefish.  The jaeger went directly after a juvenile Laughing Gull, probably in an attempt to steal its fish.  All of the gull/tern flock flew west and disappeared around the lighthouse.  Tried unsuccessfully to relocate the jaeger. charsjs at sbcglobal.net
