I noticed several hundred Tree Swallows flying into the wind off of Stratford Point this morning as well, but the real show came later when Scott Kruitbosch and I noticed a huge flock of ~25,000 Tree Swallows to our north flying west over the old landfill at Short Beach. It will be interesting to see if the CT River roost numbers are noticeably down this evening.
