Very nice turnout both in people and birds for the second day of the
festival today. The non-raptor highlight was a juvenile RED-HEADED
WOODPECKER that perched on the snags behind the Audubon Center for all of
10 seconds before taking off not to be seen again.

Hawkwise we had a steady push of Sharp-Shins throughout the day as well as
an adult Bald Eagle that obliged for the crowds gathered to see the live
raptor show. Many thanks to all the hawkwatch volunteers for coming out and
to the staff at Audubon for a great weekend!
