[CT Birds] Comp Beach Jaeger

10/28/15, 3:45–4:55 PM -- Compo Beach, Westport 

1 JAEGER sp., likely a parasitic, was seen flying west while harassing two laughing gulls at 4:38 PM. It was dark brown, had pointed wing tips, very quick wing beats, and was overall rather slender. It often dove in a u-shape pattern. However, due to my lack of experience with pelagic birds and jaegers, I will leave it as "jaeger sp."
