I have a juvenile broad winged hawk that likes to sit by my feeders now (
guess he found a food source ) he or she isn't very timid at all I can walk
to within fifty feet and it will just sit there. The blue Jays imitate the
hawk alot to scare away the other birds. And the other birds are well aware
when the hawk is around they all scatter when the hawk shows up. Even the
feral cat ( which is now tame ) that I took in knows when the hawk
is,around . Craig --- vernon
