>From Steve Spector, around 12:30 PM, Milford Point, 2 Cave Swallows flying back and forth on the main beach affording some decent views; after about 15 minutes they disappeared flying southwest toward Stratford Point.  On or near the Francis Street spit: 5 Horned Lark, 50 Snow Bunting, 3 American Pipit; shorebird flock of at least 500 (mainly Dunlin, the rest Sanderling).  Shorebirds attacked by Peregrine Falcon that ended up with prey in its talons; two more Peregrine appeared, one chasing the successful hunter, the other last seen in a powerful stoop.  Near record high temp, sunny, powerful winds. charsjs at sbcglobal.net
