Thanks very much, Min. You provide an extremely persuasive argument for Connecticut birders annually purchasing Connecticut and federal Duck Stamps.

So how about it, Ctbirding Readership? Can we all give (or purchase for ourselves) the gift of avian love? Please consider following the links to the state and federal Duck Stamp sites and doing your part as a dedicated non consumptive user of Connecticut’s natural heritage.

Help stretch CT Conservation $$$$
An excellent way to support habitat conservation <http://www.ct.gov/deep/cwp/view.asp?a=2723&Q=492150&deepNav_GID=1655%20#Results> in Connecticut is to buy a CT Duck Stamp <http://www.ct.gov/deep/cwp/view.asp?a=2723&Q=492150&deepNav_GID=1655%20#History> and a Federal Duck Stamp <http://www.fws.gov/birds/get-involved/duck-stamp/duck-stamp-information-for-birders-and-photographers.php> annually. A Federal Duck Stamp gets you free admission to any national wildlife refuge <http://www.fws.gov/refuges>that charges an entry fee. CT Duck Stamp funds have generated additional monies for Connecticut through matching grants from federal conservation initiatives.
