Birded a couple of Westport/Norwalk locals very briefly this afternoon.
Highlights:

Southport Beach: 1st Winter LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL amongst large gull flocks on beach. This is a different bird than the one at Burying Hill (an adult).

Sherwood Island SP: Male and female NORTHERN PINTAIL amongst Wigeon, Gadwall, Black Duck, Mallard and Canada Geese in large puddles on the model airplane field. All the ducks spooked at one point and flew into the marsh.

Norwalk River, opposite Aquarium: Drake EURASIAN WIGEON continues. The local Peregrine Falcon was also hanging around the railroad bridge.
