[CT Birds] Not a rarity to chase but nice for me

I was on my daily walk around the neighborhood and as I passed a Bradford
pear tree I heard a soft sweet song. It was a Robin singing ever so
sweetly just under his breath. I was reminded of the Oliver Herford poem:

I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.

"We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,”
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
