The Tradition, History and Birds of Beautiful Hungary
Have you ever considered Hungary as a birding destination? Most likely not! From historic Budapest to the beautiful countryside, wherever you are, you are never far from quaint villages, national parks, the spectacular Danube River, and of course, birds. Paul Cianfaglione will take you on a three-week journey across one of Eastern Europe’s least traveled countries. We will visit the bird-rich grasslands of Hortobagy National Park, Lake Balaton, The Bukk Hills and other interesting sites. Hungary offers not only many desirable bird species, but special sightings of Red-footed and Saker Falcons, Imperial Eagles and the revered White Stork.
