I'm curious what this bird is feeding on, and how it will survive the extreme cold over the next 4 days? Has anyone put out suet or meal worms along the areas he frequents?

Usual location under the bridge near the post office in barkhamsted. I arrived just before 9am and it just showed up. At about 9:15 it flew south down the river, just out of arms reach of us.

Lots of other birds here today too. Cedar Waxwings bluebirds and a kingfisher among others.
