In light of the recent failure of the Eagle nest in Milford, and in response to those who have asked about the Seymour nest, this morning both Eagles were at the nest. One of the birds has been observed bringing in new material to continually enlarge the structure. This area has been active for several years.
In past years, the nest was in a tulip tree about 120 feet above the ground. That nest came down in a wind storm a couple of winters ago. That nest has produced several Eagles to our population. The new nest had at least 1 fledged bird both past years.
