seen by Anders Ogren,4/29- Plum Bank Marsh, Old Saybrook, 6 PM  Tri-colored Heron located just north of the new Osprey Platform on the east side of the marsh.  7 PM. John Ogren, Heron already gone. Many of these birds roost on Duck Island, Westbrook, and travel back to this marsh early am. Best land based viewing would be Chestnut Circle off of Maple. This and Edmund (also off Maple) are also great places to see Ibis and Little Blue Heron. Chris Ephlick saw a WF Ibis in the marsh last week. John OgrenManagerNorthern Rail Services, Inc203-395-6589fax 860-339-5209www.northernrailservices.com
