Magnificent day in Stratford, and I captured a bunch of close shots of
ridiculously cooperative Cape May Warblers:
http://rtpi.org/cape-may-warblers/

The Cape May(s) afforded better views than any of us had ever seen.
After performing the usual song in the morning, one bird was singing
this little short alternate tune repeatedly in the afternoon while
foraging. I had 82 species, 20 being warblers, at the McKinney NWR in
Stratford, many also seen by arriving friends...

friend the hungry Worm-eating Warbler from last week in Trout Brook
Valley (Weston) he is here:
http://rtpi.org/worm-eating-warbler-helmitheros-vermivorum/

And a friendly Barred Owl here: http://rtpi.org/barred-owl-strix-varia/

Enjoy the week all! More fun to come.
