[CT Birds] Barn Island WMA management assessment public comment

CT DEEP is seeking public comment on a Management Assessment Report. This report will be used to develop a comprehensive management plan for what is CT's largest coastal wildlife management area (roughly 1,000 acres). It is also a Globally Important IBA. Most birders know it as a good place for Salt-marsh and Seaside Sparrows, but it offers quite a bit more. I myself discovered a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher there one June and spent many an hour there teaching myself how to bird. Being a WMA it is a multi-use area, and it would be quite beneficial to have the reasoned comments of CT's birders in the mix. The webpage is:
