All,
Because these receipts seem fragile I'd recommend you purchase it online because you'll generate a PDF file in the process which you can reprint anytime on your own paper and laminate if you'd like (although that would require some trimming or folding).  Steve Morytko Ashford, CT

Understood.I purchased the necessary Migratory Bird Conservation Stamp (aka Duck Stamp) today at the town clerk office in Branford. Quick and easy.  Although you should not HEAT laminate the receipt I signed it and made a copy then used a laminate sheet (from Staples) on the copy (suggested by the clerk). Otherwise it's a flimsy piece of paper.I was told they could/would reprint the receipt if necessary. I will receive my "duck stamp" in the mail. Maureen Wolter

Folks need to know that this pass authorizes them to bird on the property before others have access, it does not permit them to stay for other purposes.  Staying in the park for other recreational purposes is a violation of our regulations and constitutes a charge of “fee avoidance”. There is no stated departure time, birders can leave whenever they are ready, but they may not use their early access to stay for the day on the beach.  If they want to also visit the beach or the Nature Center, or whatever, they need to exit the park and re-enter after paying the appropriate fee, just like any other park visitor Kathy Van Der Aue
