This morning at Windham Airport in North Windham, there were 2 family groups of recently fledged Eastern Meadowlarks. One adult with 3 juveniles was in the area I call the bowl which is at the east end of the airport near the commuter lot. The other group of 1 adult with 4 juveniles was in the area of the old dump at the northwest end of the airport
Killdeer numbers are slowly building with 40-50 birds scattered across the airport. No mud yet on the reservoir side of the dike.
